You don’t need to hire a grant writer. You need to build the capacity to fund your mission.
Many Executive Directors know they should be pursuing grants. What stops them isn’t ambition. It’s time, clarity, and not knowing where to begin.
This program gives you all three.

Who this is for
This program is designed for Executive Directors of startup and growing nonprofits, typically organizations between $250k and $2M in annual revenue, who are ready to pursue grant funding but haven’t yet built a reliable process for doing it.
You may be in the right place if:

Grant funding is inconsistent or hasn’t started yet

You’re the primary person responsible for fundraising alongside everything else

Each grant application feels like starting from scratch

You know grants are possible but aren’t sure which ones to pursue or how to approach them

WHAT YOU WILL BUILD
Over eight weeks, you will move from uncertainty to a functioning grant writing process.
By the end of the program, you will have:
- A completed grant readiness assessment
- Core funding documentation gathered and organized
- A compelling impact statement grounded in research and data
- A program budget built for grant submissions
- A full project narrative and letter of inquiry
- A vetted prospect list of aligned foundation funders
- A custom grant application template you can use again and again
- A repeatable system for identifying opportunities and submitting strong applications
This is not a course. It is a structured, guided build. You leave with assets, not just knowledge.
The goal isn’t to write one grant.
The goal is to never start from scratch again.
HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS
The cohort meets weekly for eight weeks via Zoom. Sessions run 90 minutes and are recorded for participants who need to review them later.
Each week builds on the last. You complete foundational work alongside a small group of peers at a similar stage, with direct coaching and feedback throughout.
Your enrollment includes:
- Eight weekly group coaching sessions with recordings
- A full grant readiness assessment and one-on-one intake meeting before the program begins
- Year-long access to all program content, resources, and future updates
- Access to the full Particle Labs software suite during the program, including foundation prospecting tools
The cohort model is intentional. The peers you build alongside understand your constraints, your sector, and what it takes to lead a growing nonprofit on a limited budget. That context is part of the value.

A common concern
“I don’t have time to add something else to my plate.”
That concern makes sense. This program asks for 90 minutes per week for eight weeks. In exchange, you build a process that reduces the time every future grant application will take. Organizations that complete the program have the foundation to submit 12–18 strong foundation proposals per year with significantly less effort than starting from scratch each time.
If your bandwidth is genuinely too limited for even that commitment, our retainer engagement may be the better fit.
